Thanks to continued funding from new and existing partners (50%) and the National Science Foundation (50%) , the Zwicky Transient Facility will continue to operate for the period between 2021 and 2023. The end of Phase II also marks the beginning of operations for the Vera Rubin Observatory.
A virtual meeting was held on Oct 23, 2020 to celebrate the conclusion of Phase I and present the abmitions for Phase II. The event also served as a forum for input from the community.
